Founded in 1997, our partner sanctuary is nestled within the misty hinterlands of Ubud, a direct response to the pressing crisis in Sumatra, where rampant deforestation and poaching have imperiled the native elephant population. Today, it stands as Bali's foremost elephant rescue facility, serving as a haven for the island's largest herd of critically endangered Sumatran elephants, six of which have been born within the sanctuary.

Spanning 4.5 hectares of meticulously landscaped terrain, the park meticulously replicates the natural habitat of these Sumatran elephants. Central Bali was strategically chosen for its cooler climate and abundant greenery, ensuring the herd thrives in a serene landscape.

In every aspect, we prioritize humane and ethical practices. Training is conducted through repetition, positive reinforcement, and boundless patience, completely eschewing any form of harsh or cruel methods.
